windows error recovery...

it comes up with the options :safe mode safe mofe with networking ect....
i clicked on all four.. i ran it normally last known good configuration.... and it takes me to windows boot manager... where it says to instert the disc and choose language and what not.... THE only problem is i lost the CD.... and it shows an error

Your best bet is to use a Vista recovery disk (it actually works quite well!) - ideally you need to use a 'proper' Vista disk (rather than an OEM one from Dell or whatever). I don't think I'd be allowed to link to any sites that you can download one from but just type 'Vista Recovery Disk download' into Google & you should find a couple.
