Comment:

I keep receiving an error message from windows VISTA stating the following: "Potdata MFC application has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."

Note: it states "potdata", not "postdata"

Any suggestions? I do not have any software installed like Nero,Zone Alarm, or any DVD burning software like Roxio or Nero. I use bitDefender 10.3 (build 247)and have APC powerChute personal adition 2.1 for VISTA running.

I had Spy Sweeper 5.3 installed but had to uninstall it (used webroot removal tool)because that really screwed things up. Worked fine since I removed it 6 weeks ago.

I'm not using a brother printer re: MFC error msg.

I'm also getting "Microsoft Feeds synchronization has stopped working" error message.

Any ideas would be appreciated!

potsdata is your PowerChute software. Uninstall/reinstall it or look for an updated version.

Yes, called M$ and they have no idea; which is what I anticipated. Posted again to get new eyes looking at this post.

My next step will be to reformat HD if necessary but I want to give it another shot here before I do that.
