Reply: (edit)Try to open the player before you open the file. If it doesn't open, it could be corrupt. Search the exact error message on google. Use another player in the meantime.

Reply: (edit)hi/ guapo ive opened the media file from the start up files and it plays o.k. but when I try and open my pics in my pic file they are displayed on desk top o.k but I cant open any of the pics it states media source 5 isint working and will contact windows for a solution, but ive had this prob now for 3 weeks, its a fairly new dell p.c windows vista 32

Reply: (edit)Can you give me the exact error message? Does it actually say that the program "isn't working? Open the event viewer, start, run, eventvwr.msc Post any related error messages.

Reply: (edit)HI/ GUAPO I have been fidling around with one of the pics file, PISCA, and my pics folder, and today all my photos are automatically opened in WINDOWS GALLERY even though I am not in windows gallery,? this is one of the mysteries of VISTA, ALL SEEMS NOW O.K THANKS.
