Have inspiron 9300 lap top with a nvidia geforce go 6800 with all the updates instaled.i cant seem to get Windows aero glass to work with my vista home premium upgrade. intel pentium 1.73Ghz ram 1.00gb grafics nvidia geforce go 6800 80 gig hard drive systeme type 32 bit operating systeme 64 bit capable = NO What seems to be the probleme for running Windows Aero glass what can i do to fix the probleme. my probleme is that when i go to color and appearance it always comes back to windows vista basic.I never see the colors shemes like it should.I went to a store to see up close a vista instalation on another laptop and there is one thing that seems to be missing on my computer.My quick lauch icon for Aero.Just do not know what to do anymore.is it possible that i am missing something or my instalation is screwd up somewhere. My base score is 3.6 and i have seen a laptop running aero glass with a score of 3.1 Maybe something went rong in the instalation can i reinstall over my vista and if yes what will it do and will it take more space on my hard drive. thanks in advance hope someone has a good answer for me

NVIDIA has a new web site for its customers to be able to get the latest Vista drivers. Have you checked to see if your card has the latest drivers?

Ok everything now is in perfect order. The probleme was quit simple but you need to know because for some reason vista does not tell you what the probleme is. here is the probleme that i solved. If you have Harmony instaled on your computer well take it off because there are no upgrades for this for now and this is what makes Aero glass unstable.
