WIN 7 Upgrade, over WIN VISTA. Easiest way!

February 15, 2011 at 05:17:16
Specs: Macintosh 10.6.3, Dual Core Mac Mini /1 G
I have Vista on aMAC-MINI dual boot with Snow Leopard 10.6.3. Just bought WIN 7 Upgrade,

BUT..I had installed Vista without entering that long series of verification numbers/letters... I lost them but Vista said that I may enter them after Vista is installed.

Will Win 7 upgrade install over a copy of Vista where I did not enter those numbers/letters? AND...where and how can I obtain such numbers that I lost!

From what I can tell, you do not even need to have vista installed install windows 7 using the upgrade disk - just insert the vista DVD when it asks for media

And no, windows 7 upgrade should not ask you for a vista serial/activation key, it may however ask you for a 7 one, but that should have been included with your upgrade disk
