Before you do a reinstall make sure that you have or can get the drivers, especially the network adapter drivers.

You probably need to install drivers for the wireless network adapter. Look in Device Manager. Are there any yellow exclamation marks there? If so....on what devices?

Ok, that means you don't have the right video drivers installed. And possibly missing some other drivers as well, including the network adapter. You'll need to download and install those drivers. If you can't find them on Toshiba's website, post the model of your laptop and somebody will help you find them.

You could try this...

Right click where the yellow exclamation mark is and update driver then let Windows automatically find drivers for you.

Did you install flash player?

When you try to play a youtube video clip, if you haven't got flash player installed a yellow bar should pop-up across the top of the screen.

Click on the yellow bar and allow the install of flash.
