why won't my Vista PC install Norton 360

That could be a blessing...why not try Avast Free, much better protection and troublefree

you have to stop going to restricted sites then I guess. Avast catches viruses on the fly and just aborts the connection...I don't have that problem ;-)

I have always used AVG free, never a problem. FYI - (not that u do...but) don't go to adult sites, they have viruses, I have cleaned many pc's because of this....just saying.
Also, to get rid of these viruses, this site has a free program that most computer repair companies use. combofix free

fred you look pretty new at this. The best place to get combofix is:

I wouldn't download anywhere else on that product.
Also, combofix does NOT work on 64Bit PCs
