Allright, here's the problem.I installed my external hard drive in the proper port, and it started to work, but then my desktop icons dissapeared. Was able after a lot of work to get everything back, then dissconected external hard drive and restarted my computer. When I did I got a message that reads something about files waiting to be burned onto a disk. Can you help?
Burning to disk means the CD/DVD burner not the external hard dive. Not really a big deal. At some point you can find the files (links to files) under the cd/dvd drive and simply delete them.
All that has nothing to do with the external hard drive.I don't get the proper port deal? Any old usb slot ought to work.
1/3 of highway deaths are caused by drunks. The rest are by people who can't drive any better than a drunk.
