why is my mouse clicking on opposite sides

Specs: Windows Vista
My wireless mouse all of a sudden has opposite sides to click and so does my laptop clickers. How can I change them back?

Click on 'Start', then 'Control Panel', then 'Mouse', the settings for right or left handed use are in there.

I finally figured how to switch the wireless mouse and my computer pad to the way they were clicking, in regards to all of a sudden they were the opposite, right was left and left was right. I went to the Touch Pad icon in the lower right of my screen and clicked on that. I found what I needed to change on that. Don't know how it got changed, but it did.
