Hello all...I have 2 questions, I'd appreciate anyone's help.
I have a desktop and a laptop and on my desktop I seem to have this problem pictured here from this screenshot:
This is the best screenshot I could get: I circled it...

http://img13.imageshack.us/my.php?i...

Can someone please tell me why it is greyed out on my desktop and NOT on my laptop?? Both are running Vista Home Prem. My mother's PC and laptop both are running the same Vista Home Prem and she is NOT greyed out. My best friend has Vista Prem on her laptop and she IS greyed out too. Weird huh?? It is the "send page by e-mail" and the "send link by email." Those are the ones greyed out only on the ones mentioned above.

Also, the other question...how can I print screen form laptop?? I have the buttons on keyboard for prtsc, is there something else I need to hold down at the same time?? I have tired over and over.
Thanks to anyone that can help.
Viv

What version of IE are you using and are they the same on all the machines?

If you click file and point the mouse to send, are they grayed out there?

Hello,

No, they are not greyed out in "file"
Only where I circled in my screenshot, and yes, everyone has IE 7.

Are you satisfied using it from 'file' as a work around or do you still want to find the answer to your question?

Hello,
Is Windows Mail used on the computers that have "send link by email" grayed out? Another thought would be that the security is set too high on Internet Explorer 7.

I just noticed that in "file" they are greyed out too.
I have security set at medium in windows mail and to allow internet access, less restricted. So that is not the problem.

I mean I can always just copy/paste the link from the URL to send a page to someone, but curious as to why my laptop none are greyed out, my mother's laptop and PC are fine but my PC and my bestfriends laptop are greyed out. Strange, and I even went over everything and compared side by side all settings are same.
This all started when my best friend asked me why her's were, so it opened a can of worms...I never noticed mine on my PC cuz I don't use that, I copy/paste URLs.

Have you followed the instructions under Printscreen in windows help?

If so and no help go to Start\Programs\Accessories\Snipping Tool and it will do what you want or download Gadwin PrintScreen which is an excellent program for this.

Deke,

The link you provided in your other email, did the trick. BUT, the way they explained it there, was not actually the best directions, I figured it out myself by reading "between" their lines.
All is good, all is working and I thank you so very much.
Have a great night and rest of the week.
