Hello,

I am trying to play the game Warcraft 3 through vista, we play through LAN or hamach normaly, it seems that on vista Warcraft simply is not properly recognizing any packets sent from other systems concerning this game, i've played Company of heroes just fine with friends, though it seems warcraft3 just won't detect any servers when people host, nor will people detect me.

I have uses Wireshark to track packets,
it seems my computer actually does receive the packets but warcraft 3 is not finding them, i have tried running wc3 under compatibility mode XP and running it as administrator.

Does anyone have any idea why warcraft3 could reject those packets or how i can find out whats going wrong localy what could stop it from properly getting the packets.

PROBLEM EXPLANATION
I think its your firewall.

SOLUTION 1
Disable your Firewall (not reccommended)

SOLUTION 2
Allow the program Access through the firewall

Need help with computers. Stay away from Microsoft.
