New install of vista and everything seems ok but in PC PROBE11 i get a reading of between 1.12 and 1.36 in the Vcore voltage box and a red warning
i know this might be false but is there any other way to check or does anyone know if this readings are normal (it seems to flucuate a little hence the from/to

What is your voltage reading in the BIOS?

ok i think pc probe is not giving me exact readings in vista because my mobo and fan temps are all up (unless vista runs hotter than xp)
maybe im being a bit fussy because i had everything perfect in xp and now on vista its a wee bit different..
all my drivers etc are vista except that i have not in the nforce chipset drivers yet.
my computer is self built with silence in mind
my case and mobo temps are all about4 decrees up on xp
i know they are a bit higher than normal as i have a mobo with a heatpipe instead of a fan and my graphics card is passive as well
my fans are running on QFAN
Anyway my voltage in bios is ok so pc probe must be wrong..

Yup .... those Windows based reporting tool can't be trusted sometimes, that's why I always advise folks to check the BIOS whenever the temp numbers indicated seem fuzzy, before doing anything else.

as i said because i need a silent system i have to let the temp rise a little (slower fans, passive graphics card, heatpipe on mobo and insolated acousticase)
but do you think i will get away with
mobo 40
cpu 37
