Hi guys, this is a long ongoing issue that i have battled for ages without any success at all. I have scoured the net for answers but the solution is eluding me. With IE7, or IE8 or Firefox i cannot get flash player to stay working at all. Everytime it tells me that Flash is not installed. I tried the manual install and that didnt work. I tried uninstalling Flash with the proper uninstaller and then reinstalling but that didnt work. I tried going to the Windows\SysWOW64 folder and right clicking on the FlashUtil9b and FlashUtil10 and running as administrator. This downloads the version again. Still doesnt stay working. I turned off UAC when i first installed Vista X64. I also turned off the Protection Mode in Internet Options. Sometimes i get messages about Java, but i have been to websites and Java works fine. I have uninstalled IE and Firefox a number of times, deleted directories etc etc. But heres the thing. Flash works perfectly with Safari installed. Hasn't dropped out once. I'd ditch Firefox and IE like a shot but Safari lacks many of things i need in the others. This really does my head in, so this is a last ditch effort to see if anyone actually found a solution. BTW i am using 32bit versions of IE and Firefox. Help. All the very best and thanks for reading. Darren
