I loose my mapped network drives (on a XP file server)but i still have internet. I am at a complete loss. I have updated drivers, downloaded everything MS has for Vista as far as updates. The XP machines run perfect. I use ZA and NAV2008, both have all the proper settings but I have removed them one at a time and still no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated this is driving me crazy.

What do you mean loose? Do you reboot or in the middle of day. What do you connect to?
"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, are in my top 10

My mapped drives just stop responding, then when I try and restart that freezes because it is still trying to connect to the mapped drive. I have an XP machine as a file server, and a bunch of dual boot machines in my house. The xp machines have no problem but after ~10 min or so the mapped drives on vista just don't connect. No red x's, just a big white page where you would normally see the files. I have checked my firewall, Norton, Vista security, remapped using IP address, static IP for the computer, removed IPv6 and checked the netbios setting. I am sure that it is somewhere in there but that is what I need help with. I have run out of ideas. Thanks for any help, this is driving me crazy.
