I have installed Office 97 on my laptop running Vista O.S. All the office programs work except Outlook. When I try to launch Outlook I get an error message saying "Can not launch Outlook." Any ideas? Do I need a patch or something?

Outlook 97 isn't compatible with vista, you can try to put it in comaptibility mode, but if that doesn't work then it's not going to work and MS stopped Office 97 support a few years back.

For one thing WAB isn't going to work.

ciden99... this is a public forum where everyone learns from others questions. To ask for an email response is to deny someone else the opportunity to learn from your thread should they have the same problem.

Okay, thanks everyone for the input. I will try it in compatibility mode and post the results. It will be a few days though. Don't have much time to experiment right now.
