This is amazing!

Sometimes, it appears, that you might be asked to activate Windows Vista on a computer on which activation wasn't required before (usually OEM PCs).

The problem "rarely occurs" says Microsoft, but might happen if you install a device driver, install a program, run a new program or remove a program.
