Hi, I have just upgraded to windows vista from Windows xp mce. And I have a small problem with the sound on my pc. My sound card is a realtec HD one. When I first turn my pc on its fine, but whenever it resumes from sleep i get white noise instead of sound (like a tele tuned in to nothing)

If anyone knows a solution to this I would really appreciate it.

Thankyou for your time.

You try getting the newest drivers from realtek. They post new sound card drivers it seems every other week for vista and xp.

Thanks for the the reply.

I finally sorted the problem out by raising the sampling rate from 88.2khz to 90.0khz.

Thanks for any help.
