CPU/Ram: P4 3.2Ghz

When i try and play a video within media center i get the folow error

Video Error

Files needed to display are not installed or not working correctly. Please restart windows media center or restart the computer

Nothing was done to the computer this error just started one day, i have resinstalled the ffd show but no luck. The video files ok in media player jsut not media center

Any help would be most gratful

In that case run system restore.

I had the same problem, however when I loaded an application called Vista Codecs it all became good!
