Comment:

I marked WoW.exe to run as administrator by right-clicking and going to the properties window.

But UAC still asks me to allow the application through, not once but *twice* to confirm whether I really do indeed want to play WoW...are you *sure* you want to execute WoW??

Does anyone know how to stop this, short of disabling UAC altogether (as I've uhm already done) there must be a work around. And by the way, it does it logged in as administrator =(

Microsoft's Tech Library has options available at http://technet2.microsoft.com/Windo... BUT it isn't supported in Home Premium. /sigh

Add "Take Ownership" to right-click menu in Vista .... then take ownership of your WOW executable file & run it that way.

I have disabled UAC. Problem is I prefer to have it on for User accounts and disable only for Admin acounts; this does not seem possible under the current implimentation of Vista
