Check if there's a SETUP.EXE or maybe INSTALL.EXE on the disk. Likely one of those gets it started.

Don't forget to preorder your Hatch green chili for this fall. Many vendors ship world-wide.

so such file what is on there is a file called BLOCKS a file called HP a file called CPCSUPPDISC and a file called DISC1 .although this is not disc one at all nor does it have any effect when put into the computer at any time. inside BLOCKS is a file called ALLBLOCKS inside that is ALLBLOCKS WIM FILE. inside HP is MLS file with config files inside. the other two file i can't open some type of page files. i have reinstalled the 3 disks a few times due to dead hard drives and trying alternative os. but never has it ever accepted the supplemental disc which i'm sure has things i need on it as there are always things missing when it's rebooted.

Stop using the HP discs which I'm sure are bundled with all sorts of crapware - install "pure" Vista (from the Microsoft disc) instead. Either that or install Win7 which is a much better OS.
