So, I may have been a bit impatient last night. I meant to shutdown vista wholly but accidentally put it into sleep mode (the circle with a dash facing up). I did not want this option so I thought I would beat the computer to the punch and just shut the whole thing down. I began to hold the power button to shut it down. It shut off.

This morning when I went to turn it on it would power up but there was no beep. The monitor will not show the BIOS beginning (in fact there is nothing showing up on the monitor at all). It seems as though the hard drives are not being booted up. I feel like it is somehow stuck in sleep mode. Any thoughts or recommendations?

Unplug the computer from the wall for a minute then plug it back in and try it.
