You can grab SP2 Final for five languages, English, German, French, Japanese, Spanish, from:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...

If your Vista's language is different from above, you have to wait a little bit longer.

It's been out for a while now, just not out to the public. It was released about a month ago to MSDN subscribers and OEM developers, but it got leaked onto torrent sites.

Thanks for the update.

I personally am not an MSDN subscriber nor am I using Torrent stuff.

The localized language of my Vista is not one of the five languages stated above, either.

I suppose many of the Vista users are like me waiting for the public release of SP2 RTM.

Hey suatcini

Thanks for the head up. Everybody should remember this condition before installing Vista SP2: SP1 is a prerequisite for installing SP2.

as for the torrent SP2 ...

For those who prefer (like me) the Standalone DVD ISO version, go HERE to get it. In case you wonder why I prefer this one, the SP2 installation will be faster on the network where there are many computers.

That's the risk you take when you go to p2p and torrent sites. Virus threats on there aren't nothing new, but some torrent sites like demonoid where they just don't allow anyone in and have user feedback is a good torrent site and virus threats like that are much, much lower because of that. Unlike torrent sites like the pirate bay where anyone can access it.
