Comment: "Windows Vista's first service pack is arriving on August 14 through Windows Update, roughly six months after Microsoft released Vista. It is not yet clear whether the Windows Vista service pack will include security fixes or merely update certain Vista components to improve Vista's performance and compatibility. Reply: (edit)Although, M$' most recent roadmap doesn't seem to focus on XP -- which is understandable -- in the least, I bet there is still much love for XP users from Redmond .... ka-ching! Edit: It appears XP SP3 is already being tested by a select few.

Reply: (edit)Hi fowkes, Just to clarify Microsoft will not be releasing the much awaited Vista SP1 till well into the new year and SP3 for XP will be around that time too. Kninda gutted myself like but i've just completed a 2week training course on vista and that info came from the Microsoft trainer. Forgive me microsoft but i'm rolling back to XP till Vista is sorted. Cheers fowks BeagsX2
