Hi, In my prior installation of Vista Ultimate I had a screen saver named "photo slide show". This slide show would display pictures from a directory with some nice effects like sepia, zoom, grayscale, photo frame, etc, etc. After formatting and re-installing the same version of vista I cant find this screen saver in the list. All updates have been installed and I even downloaded the the windows dreamscene and some extra sound schemes. Currently there is a screen saver named "photos" which simply displays images in a folder, it does not have any transition or any other effects. This is more out of curiosity about how a screen saver can disappear, or how the settings have disappeared. I'm using the same video card and latest video card drivers and my directx is fully updated too. Any thoughts? Thanks. Sarosh
