Does anyone know how to disable the Vista Sidebar where you can load the gadjets.

I am creating an image and would like this sidebar to be disabled with every new/exsisting users that logs on.

Absolutely amazing... there is an excellent Help facility with Vista, one wonders why no-one ever bohers to use it!

Once I thought I was wrong, now I'm not so sure!

XPuser, I saw this page already and this only disables the sidebar for the user that is logged in.

I need the sidebar to be completely disabled for when anyone logs in.

As I said before I am doing an image of each model we have on our network. So when the user gets back his or her machine they will be logging in for the first time. And will need to disable the sidebar manually as seen on http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/wind...

But we do not want this. We want the sidebar disabled so that they dont even have to disable it manually.

Is there a global setting\hack for Vista where the sidebar is completely disabled or a way to completely remove it from Vista.

I found a link that allows me to do exactly what i want to do which is to disable the sidebar for all users.
