Vista Shuts Down Automatically with no warnin

Specs: Windows Vista
I have Windows Vista on an emachine and it keeps shutting down with no warning and restarting itself when I log back in it comes up with a bunch or errors CLI Application has stopped working, reminder App.exe, ATI Graphics Driver, Internet Explorer has stopped working etc. I have taken practically everything off my computer I am trying to update my Windows with Service pack 2 but it shuts down before can complete it as well as I have downloaded the most recent ATI drivers. I have looked on posts to see what the problems others are having and have cleaned it out changed my surge protector even sent it to my IT guy and he couldnt figure it out the computer is only 2years old but this is driving me crazy!! PLEASE HELP

sounds like you have some malware and possible viruses on
your PC. SP2 won't install if the PC isn't clean. Try setting the
PC so it won't start up after it shuts down, then post the EXACT
error that you get when it blue screens.
That will help to give us more info.
You may also want to check your event viewer and see what
those problems are.
