Comment: My shortcuts for programs have stopped working. It started with just one or two programs but has spread to almost all of them. In order for me to open them I have to go to start and click all programs. I am unable to utilize the recent program list or the pinned programs. Same goes for the quick launch and desktop. This is on a legal copy of Vista Business It is really annoying, please if someone could help.

Reply: (edit)Create a new user account on the machine and see if the same thing happens there. If not, it's just that user profile - so generate a new one...
