Vista serial issue

Hi all, I have recently bought a genuine copy of vista home, but just before i was about to install this, i found my other genuine copy of Vista Ultimate (this without serial). Would my home vista serial work on the ultimate? silly question, but i have paid for the serial so could do with making the most of it. Ta,

Simple answer is serial numbers are unique to each flavour of Vista - so no.

How can this other (Ultimate) copy be genuine if it is without a legal license. Where did you get it from & how come it does not have a license? Jabbering Idiots: Everywhere You Look!
