My computer randomly goes to sleep (it did a lot when my battery was removed and it was only my adapter). Also, it did it when my battery was in the computer with the adapter but not nearly as much. It happened in the last few days and i've had the computer for a year. Any suggestions?

Ok, how do I do that? It seems as though nVIDIA doesn't have a Vista driver for my model. I have an nVIDIA GeForce Go 7400. Does anybody know how I can update my driver/software? Thanks!

Since yours is a branded PC, I suggest you contact Sony for a solution.

Other than that, power management in your BIOS settings may conflict with power management of Vista.

Disable all power management options in BIOS. You may also need a BIOS update.

Graphics adapter driver update could also resolve your issue.

Therefore, please check Sony website for updated drivers for all your hardware and a BIOS update.

If yours is a notebook, mainly the notebook manufacturer releases graphics adapter drivers. Therefore, check Sony website for the drivers.

Thanks for your suggestions, but the problem is still not resolved. Looking at Sony's website, there is no BIOS update utility or NVIDIA driver for my model that works with Vista Home Premium. Also, it might be helpful to note that my battery capacity has dropped dramatically. Thanks for your help and hopefully we can reach a solution soon.
