Yesterday I tried login in to my computer and I received a message stating that my password was invalid. I've had the same login password since I bought my computer, never changed it. Does anyone know why this happened? I'm going to try and use some of the password hacking programs. Should I be worried that someone hacked my computer? Thanks for the help. I really appreciate it.

safe mode would be the better option. Press F8 contin. when you boot it up, and then when you get into the os, change the password, or disable the password.

Shouldn't of changed. Once you get logged on you might want to perform multiple scan with antivirus programs and also ad-aware programs. Might be a virus that is causing this.

Thanks again! One more question (sorry to be a pain, never had this problem before). How do I login into Safe Mode on Vista without having to enter a password. When I tried it last night it asked for my login password which wasn't working. Thanks for all of your help!

When you boot into safe mode, there should be two accounts, one admin account and your account. press F8 make sure you select the option for command prompt. When the command promt appears, input the following,
net user administrator /active:yes
Afterwards just restart and see if the admin account show up. let me know.

If that doesn't work then do a repair intall. Grab your vista disk and then let it boot from disk. Just use the website below which will give a description of what to do.
