Comment: Hello All, We are facing a strange problem in our hotel. We have a Wireless Hot Spot in hotel which is open so that any of the guests can connect to Internet wireless. Now 1st of all guests with Apple Laptops were having problems with connection. We finally found out that one have to enter the DNS address manually to apple Airport card configuration and then it works. Now we have a Vista issue that is also nearly the same. A Vista laptop guest can see the Network and can connect to the network. He can but not access Internet other then just a few sites like google etc. I tried to solve the problem by entering the DNS address manually like at Apple at IPV4 but no use. I tried to enter it at IPV6 as well but I gues that required a totally different format because when the DNS address 141.1.1.1 is entered, it says unvalid address. I surely tried to solve the problem by unchecking the IPV6. But no use as well. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated Linux is basically a very simple Operating System, but you have to be a genius to understand its simplicity. http://www.cyberscout.net/

Reply: (edit)Don't know if this helps but ... my router won't let me access it even with the correct username and password. It doesn't like IE7 so I have installed firefox just to confidure my hub. Don't expect it helps, but i tried! Chris
