Hey people,
Just wondering if anyone out there knows whether it's possible to install vista off a hard drive. I'm currently running XP Corporate SP2, and I'm looking to the dual boot in the usual way. See, my problem is that I don't have a DVD burner on hand atm, but I have plenty of spare HDD's around. So I was wondering if I could just format one of them, load the contents of the Vista ISO on to the drive and pretend its an optical media drive. If anyone knows anything about this, or why it might possibly not work, please, speak up!
Thanks in advance. Jimbozzle.

Yes it can be done, as long as you install from within Windows - just mount the ISO image with Daemon Tools and run the Setup from the virtual drive.
