Reply: (edit)If i am not mistaken you can not do that because they licence you have got is tailored for your machine, meaning that even if you change some piece of hardware on your computer you will need to call the Microsoft guys because you will need another key webmaster of http://www.webtlk.com WebMaster of www.webtlk.com

Reply: (edit)Your shiny coaster has no material value - nada! The authentic license on the other hand is really what holds the bargain. My take is, if there is an interested party, you sure can exchange it for something else (including money). But the notion that you are trading what you hypothetically "still have" is IMHO not in your favor as the seller. Anyone serious enough to bite on the deal can easily see that you--as the trader--are potentially getting something for nothing ... how do they know for a fact that you don't have the key copied somewhere - huh? To summarize, keep the license to yourself or expect to give it away only for a paltry sum. Jabbering Idiots: Everywhere You Look!

Reply: (edit)Did you activate it online or by 'phone or just run it for a few days with the activate nags before giving up on it? If you didn't activate then the serial number is not linked yet to any hardware.
