Vista HD missing after Win7 RC (beta) expired

Specs: Windows Vista, Amd Phenom 9500 Quad-Core Processor 2.2 GHz/3GB of Ram
I wanted to try the windows 7 release candidate about a year ago and I had to internal hard drives. One of my internal hard drives contains windows vista and the other had never been touched. So I followed the proper instructions to dual boot windows 7 onto the other hard drive. The dual boot worked fine, I could boot off either hard drive. The problem occured when the release canidate expired after the trial period. I discovered the problem one day when i attempeted to boot up windows 7. It got an error from the BIOS saying it could not boot off the drive and I thought that was perfectly normal because it had expired. The issue occured when I went back to vista to format the drive and remove the dual boot. Upon returning to vista after the windows 7 release candidate expiry the hard drive was completly missing from the system. I could not locate through windows explorer or via windows disk managment. I want to know how to get my missing hard drive back.

Thank You!

Use your Vista disk to boot from, change bios to set cd/dvd as first boot. Run setup, custom, use the disk tools to delete all partitions on the W7 drive, create a new one and quick format.
Make very sure you select the correct disk, if in doubt disconnect the Vista drive first and try booting from the one left to make sure you have the correct drive.
