Reply: (edit)I downloaded freecell from your URL but it still looks like the same old original freecell. I want the version that comes with vista.

Reply: (edit)Getting the version from Vista is no problem, as a matter of fact I can email the freecell executable from Vista to you - the problem is getting it to work in XP without a hack.

Reply: (edit)xp didn't like replacing freecell.exe with a new version. xp kept changing back to the original. I did manage to get it replaced and got a pop up saying to instert my xp cd to replace changed or missing system files but I cancled it. Now I can not get past the "not valid win32 application" error. I have no idea how to create a patch for it. Thanks for trying to help but I guess i'm stuck with the old original one. I have been thinking about installing vista on one of my other hard drives but I really don't want to get into that right now. Too affraid of it messing up my system and don't want to reformat and re-install xp.
