vista- external USB - harddrive (K:) ; before starting my computer I have to remove K: unless he hangs up and will not start. Possibly he tries to boot from K: Is it possible to start the computer without removing K:? Many thanks Excuse my English please!
thank you thomasad. I solved the problem. The computer tried to boot from the USB disk. I disabeld this external disk in the boot sequence of the BIOS. I tried to do this some time ago but then I wasn't succesful.
