Comment: am sure that right on my first attempt, I created a DVD from a Movie Maker movie. Now, when i complete the movie, when I try to burn a DVD, as soon as I click on Burn, I get a message like this: "No such interface supported". What causes this error? I updated Vista with all the available updates. ZoneAlarm, BitDefender, Spyware Doctor, AVG Free edition

Reply: (edit)Below is a tip on that issue. 1. Save your movie creation to the hard drive on your computer, by choosing the File > Publish Movie command and then selecting the "This computer" option and highest quality settings. 2. Open a new Movie Maker project. Import the saved movie into your project, then drag and drop the movie into your Movie Maker timeline. 3. Now choose the File > Publish Movie command again, but this time select the "DVD" option. Now all will proceed fine in burning the DVD. Did it work?

Reply: (edit)Your suggestion worked. Since I did not follow the suggested procedure a week ago and I created a DVD, I can only blame the installation of Roxio Easy Media Creator 10 about this new interface problem. Thanks so much for the solution. ZoneAlarm, BitDefender, Spyware Doctor, AVG Free edition

Reply: (edit){"Save your movie creation to the hard drive on your computer, by choosing the File > Publish Movie command and then selecting the "This computer" option and highest quality settings."} The above is a response from Sabertooth. I'm having problems copying a DVD of a Branson show that we attended and bought the DVD. Want to make a copy of it so as not to damage the original. I have it copied to the hard drive under: Local Disk(C:)\Videos\VIDEO_TS\and then the 12 various files with extensions of .bup, .ifo, and .vob. I can not play the DVD from the hard drive and if I copy it to the DVD burner it will not play either. I'm not familiar with the instructions given by Sabertooth "File > Publish Movie". Where are these commands? Also, how can I tell if this DVD is copyright protected? I'm not wanting to go illegal, but I do feel I should be able to copy a DVD I purchased for my own use. Don't mean to hi-jack this thread, but seemed better to post here than to start another thread with basically the same content. I'm not terribly computer savvy just in case you haven't noticed. Thanx for any and all help in advance.
