Hi

Please could someone maybe explain to me how to backup vista folders via Windows XP.

My Vista operating system is corrupt, and I can not even boot in safe mode, so I removed the drive and connected it to a pc with XP Pro.

When I try to open the folders that was created by vista, it says "Access Denied", how do you bypass this to be able to copy the data in the folders?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey man, this should help you out here. Just make sure that you disable simple file sharing first. That is very important. Check out this link:
