Vista Crashs

I have a problem on my windows vista hme premuim, when i am trying to install or to run some programs the explorer craches and restarts,i.e. only explorer restarts not the system. i tried uninstalling some programs,but still the same problem. does anyone have any idea on how to fix this issue??

What programs are you trying to install? It sounds like it could be a problem with the native installer if it's hanging on each and every program that you try to install.
It could also be a virus that's attached itself to the explorer, or even something as random as a bad bunch of malware files trying to execute at the wrong time and causing a restart.
Do you know what has changed since the problem started happening? Have you installed any programs that may have initiated the trouble?

Hello Mr. KirstyN Thanks for Help, now i dont have the problem again,i think it was a software i installed,when i uninstall it seems to work normally now,but still having some wiered things in vista,like every folder have its owen charactarestics,i.e. in one folder the icons r big the onther is meduim or small and so.how can i fix this?
