Specs: Windows Vista
I have a Windows Vista computer with mulitple users. My profile was the first and is the administrator. Every profile created after mine has had problems. I've made everyone administrators, but still my profile seems to be the only one that doesn't have problems. Any ideas why?

i'd start all over from the original disks or partition recovery that came with the system.

You can not allow anyone even yourself to run as an administrator. It is a security issue and who knows what kind of malware you have on it now. Your system can't be trusted now to attempt a fix.

When you get it reloaded to OEM state you can then make one admin user with a strong password or passphrase. Then apply alll updates and security suite. Then make new limited or standard users for everyone and yourself. Keep the admin password secret from all but the most trusted users. Then when needed you can install programs and do admin by the run as feature.
