hello all.
i done a vista compatability test the other day before i installed vista premium.and it says that windows vista basic was the version my system would take. sounds strange as my sys specs are not that bad. p4/3.8ghz/2048 ram/geforce 7800gtx sli dual cards at 256mb each/650watt psu/500gb hd.raid 0. is this pentium 4 the problem. i was testing vista premium on this sys. and the games run 20 to 30% slower than xp. which i think is the nvidia drivers problem at the moment. any ideas why it says vista basic for this sys ?

You seem to have a solidarity with this guy.

Apparently, the test may not have registered your SLI'd cards for some reasons :-(
