... ca'nt find much on google not for Cq50-215nr

... they'd be on "recovery disks"

Its got no floppy drive how do I load the drivers. And I figured the SATA drivers were installed if the hard disks partitions showed up in the installation menu. Maybe it shows up, but wrong incorrect drivers so it shows but dosent function correctly?

... do you have the drivers?

... if yes, will it let you remove the "Vista" dvd replacing it with a newly burnt cd with the drivers on?

... and then switch "back" or perhaps there might be a "ram" drive you could copy them to?

... the important thing is that you have the drivers?

"...Can I intergrate the drivers into an Vista .iso setup and burn it with the drivers!? ..."

... I have just in the last 24hrs downloaded a program that will do that!! ... hav'nt had a chance to look @ it!

... plz let us know if the other suggestions work

OK I found a way to get drivers off a DVD/CD and a USB thumb drive during installation! BUT no drivers work! AGHH The checkbox Hide drivers not compadible is checked and it shows nothing If I uncheck I tried a few anyway and still no hard disks show up under the installation window. I downloaded the right chipset driver from compaq and it found some sata drivers but none of them worked.
