Comment: I am running Microsoft office XP (2002) on Vista and I recently discovered via this forum there are compatibility problems. I cannot open any hyperlinks included in e-mails. The error message is "This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions on this..." Is this another incompatibility or can I just not find where to reset security features (- or is that a bad thing anyway??). Thanks for any tips. wgm

Reply: (edit)ever try to save a pop3 password in Outlook 2002 you cant... it will remember it till you shut down outlook... it is because many of the security classes that were used in the 2002 release were updated and changed in the 2003 release in preperation for vista... the oldest office suit that is 99% compatible in a vista enviroment is 2003 Omni MCP, MCDST, Network+
