Comment: General question. When I have several internet explorer pages open and I close one it says error or restarting page and closes all my explorer windows and opens a single page again. Is this a feature I can disable? Thanks.

Reply: (edit)Are you using IE7 ? I use IE7 with Vista and I don't have the problem you described. It could be due to some other software. You could try reinstalling IE.

Reply: (edit)IE7... when i have more than one window open and close it(or attempt to) it goes into a shadow and a popup box says something like trouble with IE closing and then it goes into restarting and closes all windows and opens back up one.

Reply: (edit)It's true that Vista comes with IE7 preinstalled so it's best to assume they're using IE7. However, IE8 Beta has come out and I know many (including me) who are using it as well. As far as the initial problem, try doing an IE7 reset. Tools > Internet Options > Advanced tab, Reset... button Greg
