Comment: I recently bought a laptop with Windows Vista and a Broadcom 802.11 b/g and cannot get the laptop to discover and connect to my network router which is a Belkin F5D6231-4 (802.11 b). I tried installing a Belkin wireless adapter (F5D6050) connected through a USB port and can't get the computer to find that adapter either. Can anyone help me find a way to get Vista to discover the router or the wireless adapter so I can connect it to the network?

Reply: (edit)this Wireless usb adapter is not supported in Vista. (not much of a surprise here) can you connect through a network cable? (the routers default IP address is 192.168.2.1) Today's subliminal thought is: 'Calm down ... it's only ones and zeros.'
