Here's the problem, I got a 7.1 speakers from creative but only want to set up a 5.1 at the moment. I got Asus P5B motherboard which has HD soundmax audio, I installed the lastest Vista 64 bit audio driver from asus and I have no luck getting all my speakers to work. Only the front ones work. If I do a test on my configuration the speaker works but it doesn't when I play music or anything else. In XP, there used to be a SoundMax icon in control panel but it does not appear on Vista. Any idea?
