What I want is the best gaming possible out of my system and to make it usable for as long as possible.
My build so far... Foxconn X38A, Pentium 4 3.2 (waiting to order E8400 Wolfdale when available), EVGA 8800GT 512, GSKILL 4gb ddr2 800, WinTV PVR-150.
I'm about to order Vista because I want Direct X10. Should I go with 64 or 32Bit version?
I am going to dual boot XP so I'm not concerned about what won't be compatible with Vista.

I run a triple boot & still use XP exclusively for gaming, but my Vista x64 installation went without a hitch & all the usual applications that I use on a day-to-day basis when I had Vista x32 installation works just fine in x64.
Considering how far x64 has come today, I do not really see what you have to lose going with x64 -- instead of x32 -- if you choose to install Vista for gaming. My prediction is, most if not all of your intended games would work just fine save for maybe a drop or two FPS had you chosen XP.

Thanks Sabertooth. That's what I thought and I get the added benefit of more memory.

Pretty you want to use 64-bit to use all those 4gig RAM. If you going to use 32-bit, the most you gonna utilize is 3Gig.
