Comment:

When I was using XP I had it set so that it would show me how much space was remaining in the hard drive in the bottom left hand corner of each Explorer window. Is there a way to set Vista to provide this information as well? I am using several drives, so I need a more convenient way to keep track of space remaining than clicking on the "computer" pane each time.

There is a harddrive gadget that will keep track of harddrive space on each drive.

Click on View in the menu bar select and tick "Status Bar" this will display the remaining disk space.
