please help
my inspiron 1520 battery is dead and laptop runs on the charger. for the past 2 days some thing has gone wrong with my computer. my mouse cursor freezes every 2 seconds. it's very annoying. some times it doesnot even click and i have to click again to make it work. same thing happens to the video, and audio too. video stops for 2 seconds and plays again. then after about 2 second it stops again. same thing happens to audio. every time video freezes, audio gets choppy, it sounds almost like echoing. the freezing thng happens to about every moving thing on the screen. eg. when something is loading and there is a bar at the bottom that shows how much of the task is done, the bar does the same thing as the cursor, video, and sound. coincidentally it all happens at the same time(about every 2 or 3 seconds), and for the same amount of time(about 2 seconds). it's like a pattern. every thing freezes for 1 or 2 seconds, audio gets choppy, the every thing goes back to normal for about 1 or 2 seconds then repeats the same thing again and again and agian. please help me! it will be very thankful.

i don't know the problem, but i fixed it. my laptop had no charching and was running on ac adapter. i took the adapter out and the laptop turned off. then i turned it on and it asked me if i wanted to run windows normaly or in safe mode. i ran it in safe mode and the problem was gone. shut down never worked!
