I installed Vista around a week ago, and made a type in my name, the very first time you create an account. I realized it as soon as I pressed next, but the stupid thing didn't had a back button.
I typed Carls instead of Carlos. What I did first was to change my account name from User Accounts in the Control Panel. Then, from Computer Management/Users and Groups. Everything looks fine (Carlos) except for the fact that my home path is still Carls, so whenever I open the commandline for example, it shows Carls, or whenever I install a new program it shows Carls.
And I know it's something simple but it really annoys me. I "brute-force" change the folder from Carls to Carlos it'll be like making a new account altogether, which I don't want.
Then, I thought on using a NTFS hard link. But I guess that won't work either. If a make a new folder called Carlos and linked it to Carls, everything will still show Carls instead of Carlos....
I know its a small thing, but it really annoys me. Is there any option other than making a new user account? I don't want to do so because I'd have to reinstall some programs (not many), and I'll have to move a LOT of file again (documents, pics, vids, etc).

The very first time you create the account is called default account. The default account cannot be changed without reinstalling Vista. This is by design. Next time apply the old Bible proverbs - think 7 times - before you click on the Next button.
